1. General Terms

1.1 The information on how to enter the 2022 Repco Bathurst 1000 Book Giveaway (the "Competition") and the details of the prizes form part of these terms and conditions.

1.2 By participating in the Competition, you accept these terms and conditions. All entrants must adhere to these terms and conditions to be eligible.

2. Promoter’s Details

2.1 The promoter is Summernats Pty Ltd, ABN 48 139 042 961, PO Box 1329, Kingscliff NSW 2487 (the "Promoter").

3. Eligibility

3.1 The Competition is open to all Performance Garage (PG) subscribers until 12:00 pm AEST, Saturday, 30th September 2023.

3.2 To redeem any prizes, you must be a PG subscriber.

3.3 Employees of the Promoter, associated agencies, companies directly involved in the Competition, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

4. Entry

4.1 The Competition starts on Friday, 1st September 2023, at 12:00 am AEST and ends on Saturday, 30th September 2023, at 12:00 pm AEST ("Promotional Period").

4.2 To enter, subscribe to the PG mailing list through:

4.3 Define a subscriber as someone who has provided at least a name and email address to the PG database.

4.4 Subscribers before the Promotional Period automatically enter.

4.5 Limit of one entry per subscriber.

5. Winning

5.1 All PG subscribers at the end of the Promotional Period have a chance to win a prize from the Prize Pool.

5.2 Prizes will be drawn electronically from the PG subscriber database at the Summernats head office, 4/56 Cylinders Drive, Kingscliff, NSW, 2487, at 1:00 pm AEST on Wednesday, 4th October 2023.

5.3 The number of winners will equal the total number of prizes specified.

5.4 The winners list is final, with no correspondence entered into.

5.5 Winners will be notified via the email linked to their subscription account from 1:00 pm AEST, Wednesday, 4th October to 4:00 pm AEST, Tuesday, 10th October 2023.

6. Prizes

6.1 Non-transferable prizes:

  • Major Prize: Ten 2022 Repco Bathurst 1000 Books (RRP $85 AUD each). Total prize pool: $850 AUD.

6.2 Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The Promoter is not liable if the winner cannot use the prize or any part of it.

6.3 The Promoter may contact winners by email and/or phone to provide prize claim instructions.

6.4 If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter may substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to regulatory approval.

6.5 Winners agree to participate in all required media/PR activities related to the Competition, including interviews and photos. The Promoter can use the winner's name, voice, image, and likeness for advertising and publicity without further compensation.

7. Unclaimed Prizes

7.1 Unclaimed or forfeited prizes may be awarded to new winners chosen at random.

8. Liability

8.1 The Promoter is not responsible for any errors, technical issues, or unauthorized interventions that affect the Competition.

8.2 The Promoter may cancel, modify, or suspend the Competition due to unforeseen circumstances, subject to regulatory approval.

8.3 The Promoter is not liable for any damage, theft, or loss of the prize once dispatched.

9. Privacy

9.1 The Promoter collects personal information to conduct the Competition and may use it for marketing purposes. For more details, see the privacy policy.

9.2 The Promoter may share your information with entities assisting in the Competition or prize distribution.

9.3 The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues affecting entries.

9.4 The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings.

9.5 The Promoter may cancel the Competition due to serious unforeseen circumstances, subject to regulatory approval.

9.6 Winners release the Promoter from all liabilities related to the prize.

9.7 The Promoter adheres to the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
