2024 MOTOREX SUPERSTARS WILL BE THE TOUGHEST COMPETITION YET!

MotorEx Superstars is the car show you enter when you’ve already won the country’s biggest
car shows. It goes down at MotorEx every year, and the 2024 event will be insane!

At the lofty heights of the Australian show scene sits Meguiar’s Superstars; a car show within
MotorEx that pools the pinnacle of talent from events around the country with the single goal of
unearthing the country’s most elite custom car build.

This year, Superstars entrants have been pooled from winners at MotorEx 21, Mackay Motor
Show, the Adelaide Auto Expo, Summernats and Elvis’ Melbourne Showcars.

The Superstars back catalogue is our equivalent of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where revered
car crafters have their name etched into hot car history and this year, there’s over 20 of
Australia’s top builds vying for their shot at Superstars fame at MotorEx 22.

Because the contest is so close, there’s actually six vehicles recognised as part of the
Superstars Super Six for being simply sublime, but like all good contests one winner emerges
and is crowned Superstars Grand Champion.

Unlike some of the shows that might have led these elite level builds to the Superstars
showdown at MotorEx, the Superstars competition does not require the engine to run, nor do
they need to be registered. Every vehicle is judged by the same criteria whether it’s a hot rod,
muscle car or anything in between, making Superstars the great equaliser.

There are a couple of other neat footnotes in the rules, like the fact that more than 50% of the
work must have been completed here in Oz, meaning you can’t just roll up with a big bag of
cash and enter an Elite Level showcar that you’ve imported from abroad!

MotorEx 22 promises a healthy spread of vehicles for punters to lust over - everything from
divine hot rods, some cool American iron, plenty of Aussie muscle and even a Skyline GT-R
proving just how much the tuner/JDM scene has grown here in Australia.
