Your Chance To Own A 2023 Formula 1 Car

Getting your hands on a current generation Formula 1 car is a rare opportunity!

Any generation of a Formula 1 car is a remarkable bit of gear, embodying the pinnacle of racing technology and design principles. It's exceedingly rare for anything of the current generation to come up for sale, but now is your chance to jump on an official current-generation car. Born out of the sweeping regulatory changes of 2021, the new generation of F1 cars are more aerodynamically efficient, facilitating closer racing and more overtaking. With a ground-effect aerodynamics approach, the 2023 model is designed to reduce turbulence for following cars, ensuring a level playing field and more thrilling battles on the track.

F1 Authentics currently has two current generation machines on offer - both from the Alfa Romeo F1 outfit. Currently up for offer is the Official Alfa Romeo F1 Team X BOOGIE Graffiti Show Car which we reckon would make a pretty striking centre piece in any man-cave. The current bid sits at 125,000 euros, with six days left on offer.

The next car going up for auction in the next few weeks is the Official Alfa Romeo F1 Team KICK C43 Belgian Grand Prix Livery Show Car with an opening bid of £1,000.00. Sure, they both might be show cars but rest assured they're the real deal. The listings explain that the components are Components are designed and manufactured using the same techniques as running F1 cars and utilising official 2023 Alfa Romeo F1® Team Stake CAD data, composite tooling is used to create patterns, which are then used to create carbon fibre moulds via an autoclave.

If you're after something else, the F1 Authentics site has a listing of a few older generation cars - some that are actually race used. If I had my pick, I'd probably grab the 1999 Ferrari F399 Official Show Car driven by Michael Schumacher, Eddie Irvine and Mika Salo. Anyone keen to spot me a few bucks?
