This Is The Most American Mod We've Ever Seen to A GT-R

America, we need to talk…

If you spend way too much time watching automotive YouTube channels like I do, you’ll notice that there’s somewhat of a fascination with all-terrain wheel tracks on passenger vehicles.

Dave ‘HeavyD’ Sparks (famously of the Diesel Brothers TV show) is leading the charge, fitting them to everything from Hellcat-swapped Jeeps and even a Cybertruck, and he’s sweeping several other YouTubers up in the craze, too.

And that’s fine, destroy as many late model 4x4s as you want but I feel its our imperative as the unofficial home of GT-R performance to put our foot down when we see some wild Americans doing this to Nissan’s helo supercar!

The first tracked Skyline to appear on the Blacked Out Motorsports Facebook page was a black GT-T playing in the snow, and to be fair, I don’t have a dog in that fight - you can ruin an R34 GT-T in any way you see fit. However when they followed up a short time later with an R34 GT-R frolicking on the beach wearing tracks we knew the madness had to end!

It would appear that the tracks bolt on and off with no modification to factory systems making it no harder than a simple wheel change, and we have to admit it looks pretty wild. You have to wonder how the vehicle’s suspension reacts to the load and weight of the monstrous tracks, though?
