RINGBROTHERS MOST INSANE BUILDS

Ahead of their arrival on Australian shores for Meguiar's MotorEx and Northern Nats 2024, we thought we’d shortlist some of the Ringbrothers best builds.

Jim and Mike Ring share plenty of things, but the one that interests us the most is their shared passion for custom cars, and their incredible skills when it comes to building them. The brothers from Wisconsin brought a third, booming industry to the State that’s otherwise best known for it’s dairy and beer industries, making it’s other great export world-class custom cars and parts.

The brothers are steadily ramping up their vehicle output, unveiling new builds every single year at the SEMA Show. As well as this, their business produces insane custom billet parts for other builders to integrate in their builds, including the billet bonnet hinges that they pioneered over a decade ago, now available to suit most popular street machining platforms.

If you’re headed to MotorEx in 2024 to meet Jim and Mike, we’ve got the ultimate cheat sheet on some of their most iconic builds so that you can brush up on your knowledge!

ADRNLN De Tomaso Pantera

Despite being over a decade old, ADRNLN definitely still holds its own thanks to some timeless styling. Their reimagination made the car look like a modern prototype of the world’s best unknown supercar, thanks to a custom front end, sleek styling and those beautiful HRE wheels. At the time, the 600hp LS3 would have been a real barnstormer, too.

HAPPY CAMPER  Winnebago Brave

It’s not their most elite build by a long stretch, but it’s hard to deny to that their Tiki-themed, patina clad camper is one of their coolest. The vehicle is largely stock on the outside and underneath, save for a swapped LS3 engine. It’s the cabin that comes to life, filled head to toe with paraphernalia that could best be described as ‘neon kitsch’.

CLEM Ford F100

Their shop truck build is a style that’s really only coming in to vogue now. The late-50s F100 boasted a Coyote engine swap and ran late model Crown Vic suspension geometry underneath along with giant Baer brakes, meaning this old truck would go, stop and turn like a brand new vehicle.

DEFIANT! AMC Javelin

We don’t have a lot of experience with the AMC Javelin here in Oz so I’ll suppress my urges to comment on the car’s uninspiring proportions from the factory, but DEFIANT! Is a testament to the Ringbrothers talent - taking a challenging blank canvas and turning it in to a low slung, aggressive street machine. The 1000hp Whipple-blown Hemi is the icing on the cake.

UNKL Mach 1 Mustang

UNKL might just be Ringbrothers heartland - a proper American muscle car, turned in to a modern, bad ass Pro Tourer. UNKL boasts a carby-fed John Kaase BOSS motor, a catalog of suspension goodies, a manual transmission and giant rear meats. This is the reason the heart eyes emoji exists.

VALKYRJA Chevy Camaro

Universally regarded as one of their helo builds, VALKYRJA is a 900hp Pro Touring Camaro. The attention to detail in this build is nothing short of astonishing, and its definitely worth checking out the full gallery on the Ringbrothers website to immerse yourself in what makes this car truly sublime.

ENYO Loadmaster Super Truck

One of the brothers more recent builds and without a doubt one that’s enjoyed the msot fab work, ENYO acknowledges the emergence of the muscle truck phenomena and dispels the rumor that they can’t be fast or go around corners. With a 510 cube fat block up front and Kinsler injection, ENYO employs Roadster Shop underpinnings including cantilever coilovers and independent rear suspension along with Goodyear slicks all round for in-your-face styling that’s impossible to tear your eyes away from!
