Street Machine Summernats 35 - SOLD OUT SATURDAY! (video)

Street Machine Summernats 35 Saturday was the biggest day in ‘Nats history, a day that lived up to the event's reputation as Australia's biggest horsepower party. The sold-out Saturday saw thousands of car enthusiasts flood the gates another day of high-octane action.

The day kicked off with stacks of killer cars parked up in the Shannon’s Show ‘n’ Shine competition, where car owners put their prized possessions on display for all to see. From classic muscle cars to modern supercars, there was a wide range of vehicles on display, all with one thing in common - plenty of smiles in the sun.

During the day also saw the tattoo, mullet and fashions on the field competitions, as well as lawn mower racing and so much more. The Aeroflow Cruise Route was also cranking all day with loads of cars doing lap after lap for the huge packed crowd watching on.

The Rod Shop Burnout Pad ran hot with tyre shredding machines all day long, with the Burnout Masters qualifying on Saturday afternoon. With only 15 spots up for grabs in Sunday’s final, some 30 odd drivers put their cars to the test with tyre-shredding displays of raw power. The roar of engines and the smell of burning rubber filled the air as the crowd cheered on their favorites.

All in all, it was an incredible day that left everyone in attendance with a huge smile on their face. The atmosphere was electric and the energy was contagious. Street Machine Summernats 35 truly lived up to its reputation as Australia's premier car event, and what's now known as 'sold-out Saturday' was something to behold - a must-attend for all car enthusiasts.
