Stanced Out

Stanced Out

When it comes to the stance game the United States absolutely kills it, with Miguel Zaragoza's 'MNTY Z' a prime example of a seriously slammed ride set off by an aggressive wheel and tyre package. Love it or hate it, this craze is taking hold in Australia.

Painted in an eye-popping Tiffany Blue, this 350Z is the embodiment of a movement sweeping the U.S. of A. right this minute; the goal being to find the biggest wheels you can, wrap them in tiny rubber and go about slamming a car on top of them.

The gorgeously gargantuan 18x11 (F) and 18x12 (R) VIP Modular VSX-210s sit perfectly inside the guards, although it took a lot of work to get this fitment just right.

This didn't simply involve pulling the guards out either, with careful adjustment of the super stiff BC Racing coilovers needed to get this thing sitting just millimetres off the ground.

People ask Miguel, "How do you drive so low?" but they really just don't get it. It's been said many times before, low is a lifestyle and no one understands this more than Miguel.

Minty is a daily driver in every sense of the word, with Miguel racking up in excess of 32,000km in just over a year and scraping his way over every single one of them!

With such a sleek shape and jaw-dropping wheel fitment, it's no surprise that the car has become somewhat of a celebrity. You would be hard-pressed to find a single stance related blog that hasn't at least posted one photo of this gorgeous 350Z. Like I said before Miguel is not afraid to drive this thing either, attending shows all over the country and normally coming home with a trophy or two.

For a closer look keep an eye out for issue 219 of Hot4s, hitting shelves on the 21st of March. Tell us how you feel about Minty Z in the comments below.
