Matt Hall Racing Heading To The Nitro Champs!

GULF WESTERN OIL NITRO CHAMPS RESCHEDULED TO MAY 17-19, 2024

Sydney Dragway is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a bang, doubling the championship nitro action for the first time in its history at the Gulf Western Oil Nitro Champs from May 17 to May 19. 

To help kick start the party, former Royal Australian Air Force fighter pilot and Red Bull Air Race World Champion, Matt Hall will be bringing his Aussie-built display plane to the skies above Australia's biggest nitro-fueled drag racing meeting. He will land his plane right on the Sydney Dragway strip and blast down the quarter mile, before taking to the skies for a wild display.

The 2024 Nitro Champs is set to be the biggest nitro party in its history. Featuring both Top Fuel Dragster and Nitro Funny Car, it will be the biggest nitro display Australia has ever seen and we couldn't be more excited. We'll also play witness to a series of races in categories like Doorslammer, Pro Mod, Pro Stock, and Top Bike (exhibition), ensuring non-stop action over the three days.

Additionally, the Aeroflow National Sportsman Championship will also see fierce competition, adding to the high-octane excitement of the weekend.
