Chen's ascent to automotive stardom is a story of dedication and passion. His unparalleled ability to capture the essence of car culture through his lens has earned him a devoted following.
Chen's visit to Australia marks yet another chapter in his ongoing exploration of car scenes around the world. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the scenic highways of California, his lens has documented the diverse and vibrant cultures that revolve around automobiles.
This time, he turned his focus to the unique automotive landscape of Australia, known for its spirited car meets, insane builds, and an extremely enthusiastic car community which covers a huge range of genres - we'd say all of them.
Chen's talent was recognised at the SEMA 2022 show, where he was the winner of the first annual SEMA Automotive Influencer of the Year award for his positve impact on the automotive industry.
This recognition is a testament to his exceptional skill in capturing the soul of every vehicle he encounters, whether it's a classic muscle car, a modified import, or a custom-built masterpiece.
What sets Larry Chen apart is not just his photographic prowess, but his genuine love for the car culture he immortalises. His videos (check out his YouTube HERE) and images go beyond the metal and rubber, showcasing the stories and personalities behind each vehicle. Which you can see in the many videos hosted within this article.
In some of his videos (that he's posted this far) he's experienced GT-R Festival which is run and owned by Aussie Andrew Hawkins (check out Motive Video), he's taken a ride in a 1500hp Skyline GT-R, a Subaru Brumby that runs WRX STi running gear, he's checked out many performance workshops - and that's just the start with no doubt much more to come.
