Australia’s Biggest Race Car Part Supplier (video)

Rocket Industries have been supplying parts to Australia’s automotive scene for decades, and now they’re building quality parts for the every-man car enthusiast!

Our good mates at Aeroflow Performance invited us out to their HQ in Western Sydney (just a stones throw away from the drag strip) for a look at their incredible operations supplying parts to thousands of car nuts on the daily.

Now in their tenth year of operation, Aeroflow Performance have expanded their parts beyond just hose fittings and now offer a ‘boot to bonnet’ solution. Intercoolers, shifters, manifolds, engine mounts and even turbos – Aeroflow’s catalog now boasts thousands of individual part numbers.

They’re also genuine car people. We expected a massive room full of workers typing away in their office, but we found a small passionate crew who simply love cars. Everyone shared some yarns on their personal project cars and their stories around the traps of the automotive scene here in Australia.

Many of the crew are ex-mechanics, fabricators, racers and the like — they live and breathe this stuff and you can really tell they want to create affordable but great products for like-minded car enthusiasts.

The crew are always on the go adding to their already massive parts list, designing and 3D printing new concepts weekly. The team also regularly test out their parts on their own cars — talk about practice what you preach!

Check out the tour of the Aeroflow and Rocket Industries facilities, and be sure to stick around for a chat with Nitro Funny Car pilot Maurice McMillan at the end.
