Aeroflow Performance Nitro Funny Car Team Unveils 2023 Challenger + Shop Tour

Aeroflow Performance are set and ready to burn some nitro at Sydney Dragway with their all new Nitro Funny Car at the Sydney Nationals October 27-28!

The Aeroflow Performance Nitro Funny Car team has just released their brand new challenger for the upcoming 2023 NDRC Nitro Funny Car season, ready to chase points and wins as the season kicks off this later month at the Sydney Nationals. Team manager and reigning champion Morice McMillin is set to pilot the all new car, while NHRA icon Tommy Johnson Jr will pilot Morice's championship winning car from last season.

Early testing went perfectly and the car is set and ready for its debut in just two weeks time. We're told that the car was right on the pace from the get-go, thanks to all the brand new state of the art running gear in the freshly built car.

“Since the last season the boys have been working so hard to get this new Aeroflow Mustang built, and let me tell you, it’s one of the nicest funny cars in existence. To run a brand-new car was nerve racking knowing how much time, effort and resources had gone into it, but these Aeroflow boys have done an outstanding job as they always do, and this thing was on pace on just it’s second pass.

“It’s such a privilege to drive for Graeme, Wendy and the whole Aeroflow Team. To win the championship on the last pass at the last event of the season was just unreal. To have both Cowin cars in a winner take all final, you just can’t ask for much more as a team." said Morice.

While JBens and the crew were visiting, fellow Nitro Funny Car pilot Brandon Gosbell showed off the incredible headquarters of the Aeroflow team, where hundreds of thousands of horsepower is produced. From the four incredible Nitro Funny Car machines to the Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars and even the iconic 'PSYCHO' hot-rod that really kicked everything off for the team.
