VIDEO: 1500HP Twin Turbo CV8 Holden Monaro 'JETCV8'

Christian’s CV8 Monaro has been a build that has taken well over a decade, but after years of hard work and preparation Christian was able to unveil his dream CV8 Monaro ‘JETCV8’ at Meguiar’s MotorEx in Melbourne earlier in 2022. Drag racing was always a dream for Christian, and what was once a stock Holden CV8 Monaro with some basic head and cam work is now an elite level, twin-turbo Dart block LS engine that makes well over 1500-horsepower.

JETCV8 is a build from the ranks of MPW Performance and McDonald Bros Racing, with both companies at the forefront of top end racing builds in Australia. After the unveil earlier in the year, the goal moving forward is to get Christian comfortable behind the wheel and work up to put the car in the 7-second bracket. A first pass at Heathcote Park Raceway saw Christian run an 8.6 at 171mph. For a first pass it’s a great indicator that there's plenty left in the tank.
