Nestled in the heart of Texas, Jessie's Performance has created a vehicle that epitomises the fusion of raw power and inventive engineering.

The NASROD, a NASCAR open-wheel-inspired rat rod, is the brainchild of Jessie, the owner of Jessie's Performance. At its heart lies a Steve Morris 500 cubic inch LS engine, producing a staggering 1,000 horsepower naturally aspirated. This power is transmitted through a T56 transmission and reaches the ground via an all-wheel-drive system, featuring a Duramax front differential and a mix of components from various vehicles, including Corvette suspension parts and a trophy truck steering rack.

What sets the NASROD apart is not just its impressive specs but the philosophy behind its construction. Jessie and his team have embraced a 'redneck math' approach, combining different automotive parts to create something truly unique. This approach is evident in the car's ability to handle the immense power it generates, necessitating frequent replacements of solid steel axles to maintain its performance.

Jessie's dedication is mirrored in his personal life, as described by his wife and business partner, Stacie. Their life revolves around cars, with Jessie often working long hours to bring his automotive visions to life.

The NASROD is more than just a car; it's a testament to the creativity and passion that drives the custom car building community. It stands as a bold statement in the world of automotive engineering, showcasing what can be achieved when ingenuity meets horsepower.
