Rare Spares Rockynats 03 has arrived and as always there was several high-end builds that would be uncovered to wow the massive crowds. Here’s a quick look at each of the seven unveils as they happened.

VL Walkinshaw
This is a 10-year build for Steve Wilkes choosing a great colour combo in a tough dark metallic gunmetal grey, paired with the matching body colour roll cage ready for this insane Walkinshaw to hit the track and the street - the blown LS is certainly not short on horsepower. This will be in comfort though as you will see with its stunning tan leather wrapped interior and the body kit on this car is an absolute stand out with amazing fitment.

1957 Chevrolet
This gorgeous two-toned 1957 Chevrolet Delivery (originally a sedan) has been converted to wagon with a complete custom two-tone interior. With an LSA 6.2-litre crate engine surrounded by an extremely detailed engine bay, this wagon has plenty of surprises. Elton Walker has even made the tailgate completely push button operated. Elton had the help of lots of mates to finish off this long build so he can finally get ready to enjoy it in all its glory. And doesn’t it look stunning.

LC Torana
This ground-up Holden LC Torana drag car build is everything you would want in a race car. Trevor Cooper has taken the body off and placed over a custom build race frame, looking as great as its going to go. The first race is set for Willowbank by the end of the year. the paint and body on this 520ci blown V8 is as show as it gets, matching the fabricated interior to the fox silver bumpers on the original orange paint colour.

LX Torana
Bruce Knight has taken this LX Torana and turned it into a true work of art with the most gorgeous bright metallic silver and a custom interior, including a Holden VE dash. You can faintly see the ghost stripes down the side of the body - an awesome feature. The build is a special tribute to a long time friend. Now they can all enjoy the hard labour and remember him every time they drive this amazing machine.

XY Falcon
Chris Pasceo searched high and low for the perfect project build for the last few years, snatching up this amazing GS Falcon. After completely stripping down to bare metal and doing a complete nut and bolt restoration he has recreated the original colour with a sight tweak, keeping most things as they were from the factory. The body and paint on this build is something to be admired. The builder and owner have worked super as a team and it shows in the workmanship.

HK Monaro
Luke Mitchell has really pushed the boundaries with this HK Monaro build. A week ago not having a painted body and no engine built they have hit the floor running. His stunning Warwick Yellow (original restoration) was started two years ago but really pushed the last six months in especially panel - Luke and his guys spent the last five days painting, sanding, buffing and building. The ultimate goal reached to unveil here at Rockynats 03!

Harley-Davidson
Jason ‘Baldy’ had his stunning Harley Davidson on show at the last Rockynats, Wanting to put something a little different in this year, he had the creative skills of Kaneo to create a stunning paint job on this recently modified Harley. With the extended front guard and air ride, the bike sits pretty and was more than impressive when the cover was pulled off this weekend. High quality with such a short timeline - this is a crazy cool build.

Lucky for everyone JBens did a one take video of the unveils as they happened. Grab a cold drink and enjoy the video below and see these machines come to life as the covers come off.
