Nathan Allen is a name synonymous with skids of the wildest variety but for those of you not familiar with him, here’s a refresher course.

Nathan has been around the competitive burnout scene for many years, shooting to fame with his blue blown LS2-powered VK known as CMEFRY.

This was a name that it certainly lived up to; regularly blazing around the pad in flames and coming back for more, sometimes even in subsequent rounds at the same event!

Nathan had a great run in the VK but felt that it was time for something new and that’s where the Corolla comes in. Powered by a similar blown LS2 cranking out 1030rwhp, the tiny Corolla has proven much more potent than the VK due mainly to the fact that it weighs a miniscule 720kg!

In its first phase the KE10 wore LTL MONSTER plates and Nathan drove the absolute pants off it, bringing back his brutal burnout style characterized by a large helping of flames. He has told us that at its first Powercruise the beast was going through a 60L tank of methanol and two fresh tyres in just one lap!

The car stayed like this for a while but after putting on a performance that spawned one of my favourite burnout videos of all time (see above), the LS2 gave up the ghost.

The damage was pretty substantial.

Nathan knew that he would have to put some work into getting the engine together so while it was going under the knife, he thought he would give it a complete makeover.

After the rebuild, the raging ‘Rolla inherited its predecessor’s CMEFRY numberplates and considering what caused it to end up in the shed, we think it earned them!

The interior stayed the same as it had already been given a touch up in the past and we have to admit, it’s pretty damned nice for a burnout car!

While comfortable behind the wheel I can’t imagine Nathan doing too much looking around inside anyway and if it were me in the passenger seat, I would be mesmerized by the huge Blower Shop 8/71 supercharger.

To make the mountain of power it does and put up with the thrashing Nathan gives it out on the pad, the LS2 has been filled with all sorts of forged goodies along with a custom grind cam and some L98 heads on top for good measure. It sounds like a pretty strong combo but keep in mind; this is the third one to rest between the tiny Toyota’s towers!

In an attempt to get all of this power to the ground when not cutting sick on the burnout pad, Nathan has managed to fit a pair of gorgeous 20x12 Intro Rallys courtesy of Showwheels out the back thanks to some custom tubs that he knocked up himself.

The tubs themselves are the only real evidence that this thing really does get driven hard, with the bubbling paint a symptom of being repeatedly set on fire.

Even so, it is an extremely tidy car and the fact that it receives a constant thrashing makes it all the more impressive. Don’t believe me? Check out this awesome footage complete with in car clips that brings into focus just how big that blower is!
