VIDEO: 'SUBLIME' 20B Rotary Nissan S15 Still Turning Heads

Mark Tarabay’s ‘SUBLIME’ Nissan 200SX S15 is a work of art. From its insane House Of Kolor paintwork to its three-quarter chassis to the 20B turbo triple rotor, this carport-built street machine/JDM crossover is a bright sight to behold.

What you see is an Australian-delivered Nissan 200SX S15 that Mark picked up from Melbourne. The car was in factory condition, but things didn’t stay that way for long. Along with his brother Roni (many would remember Roni’s stunning RX-7 ‘LUSHES’) they set about building a car that would shake up the scene and create a few ‘firsts’.

The biggest first was the 20B engine swap. Mark tells us he loves the noise it makes, and if you’ve ever heard a 20B at full noise (especially a 1000hp combo) you’ll know how good they sound. That deep, menacing note, along with loads of boost, makes for a sound that cracks smiles and turns heads.

In this video Mark takes us through what it took to build such a car; insights into the fabrication, the insane custom billet wheels, the interior, the colour and the bodywork - which has a lot more to it than meets the eye.

The car was invited to the MotorEx 2023 Show Car Hall Of Fame to celebrate its many victories at MotorEx in 2010 (which was also SUBLIME’s debut).

In the video Mark speaks about many of the accolades, but most of all he says all the time, effort and money spent has been worth it for what the car’s given him in return - in the way of friends, life experiences and good times.
