Day two of the biggest Street Machine Summernats EVER.
Street Machine Summernats 35 Friday was one of the biggest days in 'Nats history with 2800 entrants and a record breaking amount of punters checking out all the action at Exhibition Park.
The Haltech Horsepower Heroes competition kicked off with the MPW crew running the numbers all day long. Michael Silk's SR20VET powered 'Datto wagon became the first ever four-banger to crack into the 1000hp bracket in Summernats history. Whether it was turbo-sixes or blown V8's, there was something for everyone on display.
Skid Row opened back up on Friday morning with entrants lining up for the chance to cut sick for the hundreds of screaming fans lining the fences. Plenty of variety hit up Skid Row, whether it was nan's old 'rolla or a blown burnout machine, the action ran hot all day long.
As to be expected at a record breaking Summernats, the Aeroflow Performance Cruise Route was chock-a-block full of wild rides lapping around the venue. We spotted a few fan favourite burnout machines even taking the chance to cruise around and put on a show.
It's officially the biggest Street Machine Summernats in history, with no more tickets available for Saturday and Sunday tickets well on the way of selling out. Make sure you check out all the action from Street Machine Summernats 35 FRYDAY in our wrap video with JBens below!
