Dave Stratton’s 1976 Chevy C10 square-body pickup is bagged and slammed on a smoothed boxed out chassis, that features a complete custom interior to match. Tucked up under the guards are a killer set of one-off billet wheels. Dave's C10 is painted from top to bottom with internal stainless tube work inside the chassis for hidden line. Powered by a 540ci big block throwing out 750hp, this C10 has the show and go to match.
Joey’s 1974 HJ GTS Holden Monaro has taken over four years to build in his garage, this coupe sporting a complete custom HJ interior and bodywork combo with a tough mean look! Painted in gunmetal grey with blacked out chrome was a perfect choice with the blacked out LSX 545 with custom cross flow injection tucked between the custom inner guards, this street machine is stealth and tough!
Kathleen’s 1934 429 Ford Big Block built by the award-winning deluxe rod shop whom year after year produce some the countries leading show cars, will be turning heads with a standout bright orange paint and contrasting custom black leather interior with t-bird seats. Underneath showing off a custom stainless exhaust system and a set of Helibrands chrome wheels that just set off the look!
Al’s cool as hell 1959 Morris Minor has had a bare metal respray in a custom PPG mix that is just perfect for the era and looks amazing! Rolling on a set of alcoa alloy rims and running a blacked out 351 cleveland needed to support the custom banana tray back, built for carting around her husband’s morris minor. Doesn’t get much cooler that this beast!
Mike’s Chevy Bel-air Custom is a sight to behold with its stunning Blue Moon Candy paint and new chrome, and she sounds as good as she looks! Running a Supercharged 406ci Dart Engine backed with a TH400, supported by a HT front end and McDonald Bros tubular arms. The custom Rydell smoothies and custom 11 tooth grill really set off this build.
Bernie’s 1967 Ford XR Falcon looks ready for the street and track rolling a set a of weld racing rims attached to a tough 9-inch strange setup with motofab rear suspension. The reason for the upgrades is a Gurney Eagle 351 stroked engine with a 372 Webber injection. The body keeping the classic look with amazing sage gold paint job, with the original interior and carbon fibre accents.
Chris’s heavily modified 1967 XR Falcon Sedan has a stunning smoothed and painted floor drawing attention to the lowered sills and quarter panels. So much work going into extending and gapping the entire car through to the epic custom engine bay where you will find the 434 Clevor Pavtek engine. The tough 20-inch Billet rims really set off the customised stance against the new paint.
Carolyn’s 1974 LH Torana Sedan freshly painted in vibrant Long Beach Blue is a ground up rebuild with husband Mark. Ready to roll on a set of weld rims with complete roll cage, retrimmed race seats and a racepak dash. Powered by a 417ci SBC with nitrous setup inspired from her love of drag challenge, this beast will be hitting the road and track straight after unveiling.
Tim’s HK GTS Monaro has taken years to get to this stage and it shows in all the detail with an epic House of Kolor deep gloss black paint job, flow coated from top to bottom! The vibrant red custom leather interior really stands out, keeping the woodgrain accents with custom console. Powered by a blown injected LS making around 1000hp, this HK is fully air bagged with 4-link suspension rolling around on a set of bondspeed Billet rims.
Anthony’s House of Kolor Candy Blue group 3 VK Commodore is built by Pro Flo so you understand the impact as soon as you see this machine! Everything in the engine bay is smoothed and customised with a hint of what’s to show peering out of the bonnet, a 6.2 V7 supercharged powerhouse producing 1200hp. If that isn’t enough a full custom interior and the 22inch rims will leave you in oar dripping in gold tucked away nicely!
Matt’s passion behind his HQ Statesman came from the love of the era and its design, over five years Matt added his own flare to the already great design. The detail to in the engine bay is impressive with a fully fabricated and flushed home for the twin turbo small block chevy, the whole build painted in a stunning silver accentuating those amazing lines and gaps. The stance on this beast is one to admire, those boots tucked neatly at the rear just set the tone for this build!
Rocky’s LH Torana sedan has been a six-year build, with plenty of hours going into the design and build process. The PPG Blood Candy paint is outstanding done by Custom Bodyworks Body and Paint, paired with a custom dark brown leather interior designed by inside rides. Powered by an LS Dart and T400 combo making 900hp, the 9-inch rear rolling on a set of five spoke simmons.
Simon’s XY Ford Flacon has countless hours of work put in bring this beauty back to fully original from the rotisserie. With some slight suspension upgrades this is close as you can get before going concourse, still running the 351 with a 9-inch rear. This build taking Simon just over three years, the paint looking much glossier than factory with that amazing Ultra Black colour choice!
Nathan’s 1979 VB Holden Commodore is super rare being 1 of only three HDT wagons and this one happens to be the only red one made, and what an impact that paint job has! Nathan has restored the entire car from ground up leaving nothing untouched on this five litres, he has still put his own spin on the wagon smoothing the bay, a set a weld rims and a fresh interior.
Robert’s 68’ chevy camaro is the whole package, not only looking tough with that amazing deep blue metallic paint but producing 1200hp at the rear wheels sure make this one angry street machine. Lots of extras have gone into the design with a custom bonnet scoop and loads of billet components throughout the whole build from the grill
Ellis’s little mighty boy looks quite stock from the outside but BOY there is MIGHTY lot going on here! Behind this freshly painted green exterior there is a complete RWD conversion powered by a 13B Bridgeport rotarty with manual transmission. The interior completely re-created to fit the half cage, custom dash and aftermarket seats. Running a custom-built one-off chassis to custom tunnel and driveline and four-link drag suspension setup!
Cameron’s Ford Capri means business from power to looks! This extreme build built by none other than Pro-Flo who always produce show stopping cars, with loads of power from the blown small block chevy this is one angry build. The head turning Brandywine Candy over black is the perfect look on this tough machine, highlighted by the chrome trim and weld racing rims.
Leo’s tough 1976 LX Torana stands out when it comes to colour painted from top to a smoothed-out bottom in a stunning Jasmine Yellow, helping to show off the custom body mods from the custom Stell bonnet all the way to the drop tank. Leo is running a polished 408 chevy back with a T5 box and 9-inch shortened diff, looking the part next to the smoothed engine bay and boxed out custom boot.
When it comes to a true tough streeter, Aaron’s 1972 LJ Torana Coupe shows how its done. Sitting in a smoothed engine bay is a mean looking 355 pulling 600hp coupled with the T350, 9-inch and 4-link rear end this thing was built to drive! Received a complete nut and bolt resto, stripped back to a bare metal respray in a moody Marino Bay Blue. Topping off the Tuff Street look with the bolt in cage, recaro seats, haltech dash and a set of weld rims, think it will be more than just street driving!
Scott Healy’s HX Tonner ground up re-build looks the goods with a new cherry black body and tray with some custom airbrushing for that extra touch. The chassis shaved and smoothed lathered in the same stunning colour, tucked neatly is a floating 9-inch to help back up the TH400 and the new 468 hydraulic roller engine. The inside also getting a makeover with custom dash and complete re-trim, what a beauty!
Brett’s 1949 Ford Coupe stands out as soon as you see it with its classy custom colour ‘Hell Bent Red’ and chrome trimming, which shows off the heavily customised body work by AA Panel Craft. Running a blown small block built by Pro-Flo, we all know that means business! The interior on this coupe is epic, completely customised in a tan leather with darker brown carpets by Darren at ‘Stitched Up’.
Simon’s XB Falcon has had every nut and bolt replaced after a bare metal rotisserie restoration, now sporting a custom mixed apollo blue mirror finish paint job. The interior choice is a complement to the outer using a contrasting white for impact. This Cleveland 393 making 620hp at the fly wheel, with a strong 4-link rear end and 9-inch to back it up. Known for their amazing shape the rear has been mini tubbed to fit 15x10” wheels to keep it looking full!
Tim hasn’t left anything untouched on this VL Commodore powerhouse build, powered by a 450ci mechanically injected big block backed by a custom-built Cowen T400 box. The super strong 40 spline floater diff built by Bosnjak Engineering needed with the 2105hp the engine is producing, sitting between a set of custom made 13-inch concave dish billets! The VL has a lot of modifications the biggest change is the engine bay, with everything completely hidden and whole car finished off by the amazing working of Black Widow Restorations!
Pat McCarter is back again this year after unveiling his original EH wagon last year, now his back with his concourse 1976 XB Coupe. This rare street machine has been stripped right back to get the full treatment chasing perfection, being a 1 of 1 car you can see why he chose to keep it all original with all factory options. Ford got it right with the pepper red paint choice and the new paint job does not disappoint, this build has taken just over two years which considering the dedication from last year is epic!
Craigs 1967 HR Holden ute is one of the most well know cars of our time, having a few make overs in its life Craig has completely transformed this 202 supercharged award-winning icon. Showing off it’s fresh new look in PPG white with some semi-gloss slanted brown and madysen gold painted accents designed by Charlie Hutton, paired with a custom grey interior looks insane! Underneath the just as amazing as the top with those accent colours really showing all craigs hard work in componentry, this car is just made to stay in show!
