In a triumphant return, Ferrari recently celebrated its monumental victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the 499P, marking its first win at the esteemed race since 1965. In celebration, Ferrari have released a modified version of their race winning car for enthusiasts to purchase and have the ultimate track-day weapon.
The 499P Modificata isn't tailored for those looking to participate in races. Instead, it's built for those seeking the ultimate track-day experience. It delivers a staggering 697 horsepower with a hybrid powertrain that when activated, elevates the output to a peak of 858 horsepower. Additionally, it features a unique four-wheel drive system that can be engaged well below the standard FIA-regulated 118 MPH, coupled with custom Pirelli tires measuring 310/70-18 at the front and 340/70-18 at the rear.
Despite its proximity to the Le Mans Hypercars in terms of performance, the Ferrari 499P Modificata sets itself apart with its intricate hybrid system. Recognizing the complexity of maintaining such a sophisticated machine, Ferrari has rolled out the Sport Prototipi Clienti program. Mirroring its F1 Clienti initiative for classic F1 cars, this program ensures that 499P Modificata owners receive comprehensive maintenance and support directly from Ferrari. This initiative not only solidifies Ferrari's commitment to delivering modern track marvels but also lays the foundation for supporting future ambitious projects.
