Webby and I hit the road to visit a mix of Summernats entrants, builders and a special person of the Summernats family. Kick starting the road trip was a stop at Pat’s Pro Restos. With plenty of unveil cars over the years, Pat and the crew have been super busy getting Mike Davidson’s stunning blue 1954 custom Chevy Bel Air ready for its unveil.

This shop produces plenty of elite level show vehicles. The talented team has been working on a top secret build that’s going to set the elite show scene on fire! We can’t reveal too much, but know it’s going to be next level.

Next on the road we managed to catch up with Graham Miller, Red CentreNATS 6 Grand Champion with EH MAD. The stunning light blue Holden EH sedan took him across the line with great driving skills to win the event. Graham has been busy after taking out the big win in Alice Springs, deciding to strip the EH back down and give it a whole new lick of paint.

Anyone that knows Graham knows that he also has an amazing candy red Holden EH Panelvan he also competed in the Grand Champ events at Rockynats 02. The amount of effort gone into re-doing an already amazing car (EH MAD) is mind blowing, really showing the lengths these great entrants go to.

On the final leg of the trip we found ourselves with Summernats royalty, the amazing Angie Henry. As the garage door rolls up, we find ourselves looking right at Chic Henry’s 62 Impala. We got a sneak peak into the start of her and partner Jason’s Holden HR build, which was just sand blasted and put into epoxy by Graham Miller’s blasting and coating business.

After the road trip Webby and I finished off the day at Yatala’s famous pie shop! Summernats really is getting close. See you there!
