Matt's 1931 Ford Model A just rolled through scrutineering at Red CentreNATS 09, and was definitely a highlight from the first lot of cars coming through the gates. While Matt might have saved a bit of coin on paint and panel, the blown big-block chev hanging out the bonnet puts out roughly 800hp which would make this an absolute wild time to drive (if you could even see out the window).
Matt got his hands on the rod from a gentleman in Melbourne, but it was originally brought in from the states where it was first chopped and channelled. It's chopped six inches and slammed to the floor and it looks absolutely brilliant. It also makes a pretty good noise thanks to a set of custom exhaust headers straight out the side of the motor.
It's Matt's first time at Red CentreNATS, and he is stoked to be here after his massive drive over from Perth. The plans for the car? Show it off and enjoy it! If you're around the joint be sure to come and check it out.
