Automotive AI Generators Are Getting Out Of Hand

As AI image generation gets better and better, people are starting to come up with some pretty weird creations.

The robots are taking over. We're sure of it. As AI begins to get better and better, people are starting to create some pretty interesting pictures via a few little word prompts — and the result is pretty wild. I thought I'd collect a bunch I've found on the net, and a few me and some of the PG crew have pumped into ChatGPT's DALL.E3.

As a Ferrari F40 fanatic, and a Summernats skid enjoyer, I decided it'd be a great idea to merge the two.

AH was pretty curious as to what a 2034 Ford Mustang might end up looking like, parked on Mars of course. The result was pretty nuts.

If you haven't already seen the group 'Cursed AI' on Facebook, it has plenty of weird and wacky generated images. The images below are from the prompt "setting cars free". Nature is healing.

Just like the future Mustang before, it seems like it does a pretty neat job at generating concept cars — for example this 2023 Toyota Camry TRD station wagon.

Anybody else remember the steam powered drag cars of the 1970s? Me neither.

"After much debate the FIA approved Le Man's racing on the moon however they could only use classic cars slightly modified for lunar racing."

"Drift contest in a walmart after closing."

Here's another we decided to try, one for us Holden fans (I guess).

So anyway, it seems like AI is getting a little out of hand. It's pretty fun to have a play around with, so if you catch yourself with some free time give it a go and be sure to send us what you create! Anybody recognise the bloke below?
